Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma treatment is fantastic at treating fine lines and wrinkles in the trickier to treat places such as the neck, chest and under-eye area.

The treatment begins with a My Botique medical professional obtaining a vial of the client’s blood, which is then put into a centrifuge machine that separates the blood from plasma. What you are left with is protein-rich plasma aka liquid gold! The client’s own plasma is then injected into areas of concern, creating a smoother more youthful appearance that helps the skin regenerate by using the bodies own natural healing properties.

Match with skin needling for a deeper treatment, also known as a vampire facial.

Platelet Rich Plasma is also used to stimulate hair growth on the scalp, offering a more lush and full head of hair.

Platelet Rich Plasma Improves:

-Skin texture

-Skin Tone

-Fine lines and wrinkles

-Scarring

-Collagen production

-Stimulates hair growth

-Under-eye dark circles

…and more

FAQs

How long do the results last for?

Clients will start seeing results within a week of treatment. After 1 or 2 months, clients should see rejuvenated skin that appears younger and feels softer and more supple. Results may remain from 1 to 2 years following treatment.

Is there downtime?

Downtime for Platelet Rich Plasma treatment varies depending on the area of treatment.

For areas such as the neck, under-eyes and chest, the skin may appear slightly red and blotchy for up to half-an-hour after injections with bruising being common.

Vampire facials can expect a 3 – 5 day period for downtime. Expect the face to be red and swollen for 24hours followed by a light shedding of the skin over the following days.
