“Normality is a paved road: it’s comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow” – Vincent van Gogh

Amie started her My Botique career as marketing and web developer quite by accident. Utilizing her passion for skin and beauty, alongside her admin skills, Amie took up a receptionist job at My Botique whilst studying for a degree in TV production at Uni. It soon became apparent that Amie was also adept in content creation and web design and was soon enlisted to take over marketing and online development.

Amie currently works out of her home office in North Queensland. Or is it Bali? Or is it Forster? It’s hard to keep track of her. Not only does she suffer from all things skin and beauty obsession, she also has a severe case of the itchy feet.

What do you love most about My Botique?

I love the team at My Botique. We have such great banter and genuine respect for one another. I have had so much room to be myself and grow.

I love that I get to stay up-to-date on the latest beauty trends and techniques so as to fuel my love of all things skin and beauty…not to mention being able to play and experiment with new products.

What drew you to My Botique?

I was drawn to My Botique as a prospective client, wanting to delve into the world of anti-wrinkle treatments and lip fillers. I was surprised at their medical professional’s huge wealth of knowledge and the confidence and care in which they approached my treatments. I was hooked, so I started poking around for a job 🙂

What treatment at My Botique is your favourite?

Dermal fillers. I LOVE cheek and chin filler

What is the most gratifying aspect of your job?

I love creating beautiful content for My Botique. It makes me happy to see imagery and videos fall perfectly into place, whilst putting across a message of honesty to all My Botique clients.

How do you spend your spare time?

I rarely sit still. I love the beach, bushwalking, travel, dogs, writing, painting, snorkelling. I’m a total bookworm and movie nerd. I spend hours trawling the internet for new beauty trends…but mostly get sidetracked by Tik Toks.
